Last night’s 138-100 loss to the Golden State Warriors was so dismal, I’ve decided not to post video highlights. The children would be scared. Here’s all you need to know about the game:

1. The Raptors gave up a franchise-record 84 points in the first half. Eighty-four points.

2. When coach Jay Triano asked Julian Wright to go into the game in the third quarter, Wright refused. And can you really blame him? What would you say if you were at Waterloo and Napoleon said, “hey, wanna join in?”

3. Andrea Bargnani continued to set the defensive standard for the team, hauling in a total of zero rebounds.

Note to Andrea Bargnani: You are seven feet tall. You should probably have collected more than the zero rebounds you picked up in yesterday’s game. In order to grab a rebound, it is necessary to reach for the ball. In the photo above, I can see that you’re trying to use the force in order to will the ball out of Al Thornton’s hands. This is an interesting approach, but I would recommend putting the Jedi technique aside for a couple games, in favour of the good ol’ fashioned “jump and grab the damn thing” method, which has proven itself over the ages.
